Hi there lovely!
Looks like you fancied taking a little peek at who Jasmine is! Let me start off by telling you a little about myself and why I love what I do…
If you would like to hear what my lovely clients have to say about me (check out my testimonials!) there appears to be a few common themes going on!
I love to ENCOURAGE and SUPPORT you, I will definitely CHALLENGE you to step outside of your comfort zone and I will do all of this by incorporating some FUN and HUMOUR, we NEED to have a giggle in class!
But let me take you back a few steps to tell you WHY I do and LOVE what I do

As a child I was always very active, dancing, gymnastics, trampolining, hockey, swimming. Most evenings and the weekend I was doing something!
I just loved moving and exercising!
Around the age of 14 years old I was given the news that I had hypermobility, which doesn’t sound too bad right? But if you partner hypermobility with how much movement and exercise I was doing particularly trampolining and hockey, I was in a little bit of trouble.
The diagnosis was in the whole of my lumbar region of the spine I had degenerated discs and cartilage which was now causing discomfort and pain. Sitting in school assembly was no fun and not just because of the school hymns we had to sing!
What did this mean for me? What was I meant to do with this information? The “recommendation” from the doctors was the typical, REST, do these exercises on this small piece of paper and “Oh all those activities you love doing, you’ll have to stop them apart from swimming” So now I pretty much had to give up what I loved to do!

Fast forward a few years...
To my university days and I was embarking on an exciting adventure on a Glass and Ceramics course…. I was loving learning how to blow glass, build clay pots, and being super hands on and crafty.
But I was struggling physically, my back was flaring up most days and even though I had my physio exercises to do they just weren’t doing the job!
Any of this sounding familiar to you right now?

Here comes my AHA! moment of my life!
I discovered PILATES and BARRE classes… how come I didn’t know about this sooner?! Who else knew about this?! My mind was blown with how great I physically and mentally felt.
I was so head over heels in love with how I was moving my body (pain free may I add) that I decided to take the plunge and do my Pilates Training and 4 weeks later my Barre Training in 2013, madness right?! But I had found my calling, my passion, this is what I needed to do it made so much sense!
It was only natural for me to explore the world of mindful movement and I continued to learn about Yoga, Aerial and Pilates Machine and eventually trained in these disciplines.
Since 2013 I have been teaching group studio and private sessions both face-to-face and also online, both of which I love. I have literally taught people from all ages starting from little kiddies in Nursery all the way up to people in their 70s and 80s, there is really no limit to how Pilates, Yoga and Barre can benefit everyone!

For me as an instructor it is so important to me that I try and help those who come to me to really find strength, confidence and freedom in their bodies, and a lot of clients come to me with some sort of body issue (injury, pain, self-confidence) and I know if you come with a “I’ll give it a try” I know I can help you with the knowledge I’ve gained from Pilates, Yoga and Barre.
